Thinking about shaving it all off...
« on: February 19, 2011, 09:16:22 PM »
I'm a 22 year old guy, that might be going bald. I am a hypochondriac, and always think there is something wrong with me. Anyway, I recently got my hair cut pretty short, and noticed how big of a forehead that I have. I don't know if this is the right place to post, but could you guys take a look and tell me if I might be losing my hair? Thanks

That is not really noticeable tbh

No big forehead no obvious sign of it receeding but since you pointed it out I used a microscope to finally notice one.

I went bald at 17 far back then that

guccibro, welcome to the best bald forum on the Internet  O0  From what I saw in your pics, you look fine.
When I was in my early 20s I saw the slightest amount of a receeding hair line; but it was really nothing for about another 20 years.  I wouldn't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff, really.  Like Arnie said, if you're seriously thinking about shaving, why not give it a try? You're young, and your hair will grow back at it's usual fast rate.  Besides, you look like you have a great head shape too  ;)  What do ya say; try it, you'll probably really like it!  8)

I don't see any sign of hair loss in your pictures. :)

For you it's a hairstyle, try it you may like it and you'll know what to do if mpb does enter your life in the future.

I'm no expert, but looks like normal growth to me.
I think you would suit a crewcut / short buzz. If you get to like the short haircut then I think you will like having your head shaved.

All the best with your decision.

Welcome gucci, I wouldn't worry about loss right now. You've got plenty of time, but you may want to try different looks in the meantime. Try a buzz cut with various guards, try a shave as well to see if you like it.
I'm willing to bet you will. Enjoy your hair while you still have it.   O0

Man, it's your call.  Got a decent hairline, but only one way to scratch the itch !

Excuse me, but how did you take that pic? I've been trying for a while to take a good picture, but my head seems to be a magnet for light.

Well I only started cutting it all off cause I started going bald. Otherwise I'd still be rocking a flattop to this day. My only advice, and I plan to pass this on to my kids when I have some: Enjoy your hair while you can! Never take it for granted! Ah, me and my hair had so many adventures together...
