Scar Revision Help! from a bad HT (PICS)
« on: September 20, 2010, 10:59:58 AM »
I had a HT done about 6 years ago. Now I am just trying to reduce the size of the donor scar to an aceptable level.
no more HT or FUE.

Does anybody knows where to go for the best Scar Revision?

Any other procedure available?

Thanks

Ypu PM if you want to but I have had a couple Fractional Laser treatments on mine which have smoothed them out at least. Then the next step for me is to try the micro tatoo processing I leanrned about here called hair replication that should blend it in very well. Check Artistry Concepts online or check the tatoo forum here. The guys who never had HT think it is silly but it seems to be very helpful if you read the website of Artistry  Concepts.

chgobuzzbald, thanks for responding.
How many Fraxel treatments did you do?  did it work?
Was your scar terrible like mine at the beginning?

I am doing one more fractional laser session on the larger scar areas first. Then I will do the micro tatoo from the guy who specializes in HT scars in Florida. Send me a private message if you want to see what mine look like. The fractional laser seems to flatten the skin out and shrink the scar very little. I was hoping for more shrinking. But maybe if you did one session every month for 6 months or 12 months it would work better. I just have too much scar area to want to wait that long.
